Academic position and research area

I am maître de conférences (assistant professor) at IRMAR in the team "Stochastic processes". My main research area lies between probability theory, differential geometry and mathematical physics. It consists in studying the links between the geometry of pseudo-Riemannian manifolds, especially Lorentzian manifolds, and the behavior of random curves drawn on these manifolds. I am also interested in the geometry of random nodal domains.

Conference CHL - Unirandom 2023 on random nodal domains

In collaboration with Guillaume Poly, with the support of the CHL center and the ANR project Unirandom, we will organise the next Unirandom conference from 05 to 09 June 2023 in Rennes.

ANR project  logo unirandom

Since first January 2018,  R. Imekraz, T. Letendre, G. Poly, M. Rossi and myself have started the project Unirandom which is founded by the ANR (french National Research Agency,  grant ANR-17-CE40-0008). This project is dedicated to the study of random nodal domains from the point of view of universality, that is to say, which properties of random nodal sets are independent of the specific choice of the underlying randomness. For more information, please visit the dedicated website.

Journées Louis Antoine

The Journées Louis Antoine (Louis Antoine's days) occur twice a year in Rennes. Each sesssion offers two doctoral courses of 3 hours. See the dedicated website.

Conference Unirandom 2021 on random nodal domains

In collaboration with Guillaume Poly, we have organized the international conference Unirandom 2021, held in Rennes from 06th to 10th september 2021. It gathered specialists from various mathematical disciplines such as algebraic geometry, spectral analysis, probability theory or else mathematical physics that share a common interest in the study of random nodal domains and their geometric, analytic or probabilistic properties. For more information, visit the dedicated website.

Conference Unirandom 2019 on random nodal domains

In collaboration with Guillaume Poly, we have organized the international conference Unirandom 2019, held in Rennes from 9th to 13th september 2019. It gathered specialists from various mathematical disciplines such as algebraic geometry, spectral analysis, probability theory or else mathematical physics that share a common interest in the study of random nodal domains and their geometric, analytic or probabilistic properties. Conference Biohasard 2019

In collaboration with Frédéric Hamelin and Solenn Stoeckel, we have organized the conference Biohasard 2019, held in Rennes from 26th to 29th august. This conference gathered scientists from mathematics, statistics, computing sciences and biology to share last advances and open new perspectives in probabilistic biological processes. For more information, please visit the dedicated website.

 Stochastic differential geometry workshop

During the Lebesgue semester 2013, I organized the workshop WS4, dedicated to recent results in stochastic differential geometry. See the corresponding website.
