Perspectives in Analysis and Probability

Presentation

The Lebesgue center chose to devote his first thematic semester, to be held in spring 2013, to the rich and close links between probability theory, analysis and the study of partial differential equations. The semester will highlight major recent advances in this broad field and will promote interactions between researchers from many different backgrounds and specialties. Several international meetings of various sizes and complementary objectives (conference very open and summer school with a large public meetings or more targeted) will be held in Rennes and Nantes.

Graduate and doctoral courses in connection with the semester will be offered to graduated and PhD students of Rennes and Nantes. The mobility of young researchers from abroad will also be promoted.
