Postdoctoral position in geometric group theory

The ANR project "Groups acting on FRactals" (GoFR) offers a postdoctoral position in geometric group theory:

• Location: Dijon, Grenoble, Montpellier, Marseille, Nice, Orsay, Paris, Rennes, or Vannes.

• Position type: 12 months post-doctoral position, renewable
• Teaching: none
• Starting date: From September 2024 or later upon mutual agreement
• Salary: starting from 2240 euros per month (gross salary)
• The post-doc position is supported and funded by the ANR project "Groups acting on FRactals" (GoFR).
• Applicants must have obtained a Ph.D. or equivalent degree before the start of the contract. Successful applicants should have a strong background in geometric group theory, including boundaries of groups, growth, various notions of dimension, automorphism groups etc, with possible interactions with members of the project. During the post-doctoral contract, he/she is expected to work on one of the themes of the ANR project, and to participate in the host laboratory life.
