Le point M
parcourt le cercle circonscrit au triangle ABC. Ses trois projections
orthogonales sur les cotés du triangle sont alignés sur
une droite s,
appelée droite de Simson (en vert fluo). L'enveloppe des
droites de Simson est une hypocycloide à trois rebroussements,
tritangente au cercle des neuf points (cercle passant par les milieux
des cotés du triangle).

The point M
ranges over the circle circumscribed to the triangle ABC. The three orthogonal
projections of M
on the sides of the triangle are on a same line s, called the Simson line (in
bright green). The envelope of the the Simson lines is a hypocycloid
with three cusps, tritangent to the circle passing through the
midpoints of the sides.
