Giulio Orecchia

I am a mathematician with research interest in arithmetic geometry; my work focuses on degenerating families of curves, jacobians, abelian schemes.

Since autumn 2018 I am a Henri Lebesgue postdoctoral fellow at the IRMAR in Rennes, in the arithmetic geometry group.

I obtained a PhD on 27th February 2018, within the ALGANT-DOC program, at the Mathematical Institute of Leiden and at the Institute Mathematique de Bordeaux , under the supervision of David Holmes (Leiden) and Qing Liu (Bordeaux).

I obtained my master degree within the Algant Master program , jointly from Leiden University and Concordia University , in July 2014.

In Padova, where I obtained my bachelor degree, I was a student at Scuola Galileiana di Studi Superiori .
