Pierre Riteau
I am a third year PhD student from the University of Rennes 1 in France, working at the IRISA laboratory in the Myriads project-team. Myriads is a project team part of the IRISA laboratory and the INRIA Rennes - Bretagne Atlantique research center. My PhD advisors are Thierry Priol and Christine Morin.
My research interests are in the areas of distributed computing, operating systems, and virtualization. I focus my research on efficient migration of virtual environments for high performance computing over large scale distributed architectures, and on federation of cloud computing infrastructures.
I received a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Rennes 1 in 2008. My master thesis work focused on supporting persistent states in process checkpoint/restart mechanisms.
